The Sui community, backed by Mysten Labs, has introduced a multiyear partnership with the Purple Bull Formulation One Racing workforce lower than a month after the blockchain’s mainnet went reside.
In a June 1 announcement, Sui said it might be the official blockchain associate of the racing workforce, scheduled to compete in Spain on June 4. Greg Siourounis, managing director of the Sui Basis, stated the partnership was aimed toward “demonstrat[ing] how web3 permits human connections,” whereas the announcement advised “immersive digital experiences” for followers within the coming months.
Mysten Labs stepped up work on the Sui community following Meta shutting down its Diem venture in 2022. The community, based mostly on Rust-based programming language Transfer, went reside on Might 3, prompting main crypto change Binance to begin providing buying and selling pairs for the SUI token.

In 2022, the Purple Bull Formulation One Racing workforce signed a $150-million sponsorship deal with crypto change Bybit.
